Back Next Week

Here are some pictures from our time in Cairns. We did the great barrier reef. Then we did the Karunda railway, which is an excellent day long trip. You take the train to the rain forest, there’s a zoo, a butterfly garden, aboriginal shows and plenty of deadly plants and animals along the way.

Our Next stop in Australia was Kirra Beach, which was about an hour or so away from Brisbane. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. The view from our room was great, the staff at the resort were wonderful, and the town was full or cool laid back people. There was the greatest little fish & chips place there called Psari (pronounced like sorry, which caused some confusion at first), anyway, here’s a coupe of pictures of the beach. (literally across the street from the resort), and Dream World amusement and wildlife park.

We’ll start with some pics from the hop on hop off bus tour. It was really cool. I highly recommend you try it, wherever you go. I’ve enjoyed it in every city we’ve used it.
